Our fixture is designed to accommodate any desired length or width, engineered with a sliding end and groove connections. By sliding two pieces together, a high bay fixture is produced; a wall pack fixture uses just one of these pieces. The lift of a HID or Fluorescent lamp (bulb) is defined as the point that the average bulb will fail. When a 50,000 hour rating is given to a LED diode, this indicates that in 50,000 hours the average diode will be producing 70% of the original light (lumens). It is important to ensure the diodes do not get excessively hot, otherwise it will shorten the diode life. Our lighting fixture has massive amount of aluminum heat sink which removes heat from the diode's back side and conveyed into the ambient air by fins that are an integral part of the heat sink construction. This design assures that the LEDs will remain comfortably cool.
Our team was critically aware that in order to maximize conservation of energy and eliminate wasted light was to provide dimming sensors that would provide up to 90% savings on lighting energy.
